Civic Coding aims to design AI applications in a social, sustainable and participatory way – in other words, for the common good. The open innovation network from business, science and civil society was launched in 2021 by the BMAS, BMUV and BMFSFJ. In the web portal, the initiative combines various information formats and funding programmes tailored to the different target groups and at the same time enables exchange within the network.

As part of a broad-based consortium, iRights.Lab is responsible for monitoring topics and developing targeted formats.
