The discourse around AI is often dominated by extreme positions: either threats are emphasised or the benefits are overstated. We have therefore been commissioned by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom to produce a report in which we use 30 examples from around the world to highlight the potential for the successful use of AI to strengthen democracy, without ignoring possible risks.
