On 11 June 2026, 10:00-15:00, the OpenTwin International Ideathon 2026 will take place online. The event will bring together experiences from European digital twin projects - with a focus on approaches that work and key challenges. Digital Twins are becoming increasingly important for data-driven planning, simulation and decision-making, particularly in the fields of infrastructure, mobility and urban development. However, challenges remain in their practical implementation, for example regarding data use, system interoperability and between different stakeholders collaboration.
The Ideathon offers exchange, insights into ongoing projects and networking at European level. The aim is to visualise experiences and provide concrete impetus for further development.
