Berlin-Kreuzberg (some remote working possible)
We are currently looking for a student assistant to join our Research & Projects department, specialising in OER and copyright, for 15–20 hours per week.
Do innovations in the fields of digitalisation and society spark your enthusiasm and pique your curiosity? Do you want to help shape the future, have good ideas and wish to delve deeper into these topics and connect them with one another? We’re looking for you to support us with various tasks within our Research & Projects division!
The tasks
- Research and analysis on digital policy issues
- Support with the analysis and summarisation of the discourse in areas relating to digitalisation, including existing concepts, approaches and strategies
- Support with the organisation, delivery and follow-up of events, workshops and participation in trade fairs and conferences
- Support in the design, delivery and evaluation of consultations and interviews
- Support in the design and implementation of communication formats
- Research and compilation of background knowledge on copyright in the education sector and on open licences
- Support in analysing the (legal) principles of open educational resources (OER)
The requirements
- Enrolled student
- Ability to explain complex topics in an understandable way
- Excellent command of the German language, very good command of English, and preferably other languages as well
- Strong communication skills, a very good understanding of people and situations
- Good knowledge of standard Office programmes
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently, excellent team player, thorough, precise and professional approach to work
- Interest in shaping the societal impact of digitalisation and current developments in digital policy
- Familiarity with the technical aspects of digitalisation
